Every Montessori Academy campus has an on-campus library integrated into the weekly routine. Children visit regularly, building independent reading habits, developing book selection skills, and experiencing the quiet, purposeful environment of a real library. The library is not a reward or a special occasion — it is part of the prepared environment, available as part of the three-hour work cycle and structured library sessions alike.
Teachers guide children in choosing books matched to their sensitive period for language, ensuring each child encounters print in a context that feels meaningful rather than imposed.

Gardening develops patience, responsibility, scientific observation, and practical life skills — all core Montessori values made tangible through direct experience with living things.
Included · All campusesIndividual academic sessions allow teachers to work directly with a child on a specific material — a sandpaper letter, a math bead chain, a reading level — at exactly the pace that child needs. This is the Montessori method at its most precise, and it is available at all campuses for children who are in a sensitive period for a particular skill.
Community members, artists, scientists, and professionals visit the classroom to share their work with children. These sessions are carefully selected to connect to the cultural curriculum and to broaden children's understanding of the world of human contribution — a central thread of Montessori's cosmic education.

Trips connect classroom learning to the real world, develop independence, and create shared experiences that build classroom community. Parents receive advance notice and permission materials for all trips.

Webby is an optional after-school enrichment program organized by an external dance company and available at all three Montessori Academy campuses. Webby classes run after the school day and are entirely separate from the Montessori curriculum. They are a popular add-on for families who want structured movement activities in the late afternoon.
